Description
Join our team as a software engineer in New York, NY, on a contract basis. 
You'll work on loan origination and trading technology, balancing hands-on coding with AI-directed tasks. 
This role requires expertise in software development, data modeling, and architecture, using various technologies.
Participate in developing features across the software stack.
Direct and review AI-generated development work.
Make decisions on frameworks and tooling for optimal performance.
Create and review specifications for AI-driven tasks.
Design and evaluate data models and schema changes.
Apply domain knowledge to ensure business logic accuracy.
Influence architectural decisions across different technology layers.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement software features collaboratively.
Manage AI-generated work, ensuring high-quality code standards.
Evaluate and choose appropriate software frameworks and tools.
Design robust data models and validate database schemas.
Utilize domain expertise to identify potential logic errors.

Qualifications
Proficient in SQL and data modeling, particularly for data warehouses.
Strong skills in Python and related frameworks for building and debugging applications.
Experience with frontend technologies and component architecture.
Ability to critically assess software frameworks and libraries.
Background in financial services, specifically credit or lending.
