Title: Sr. LIMS Business Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:
  • This role will join a team of analysts who work on multiple LIMS and web portals.
  • We are currently implementing a replacement Starlims LIMS(LPH version) for our environmental and clinical users.
  • The candidate will be involved in application discovery/training, requirements gathering, and QA testing.
  • The candidate should have laboratory testing experience and/or experience with LIMS implementation.
  • Experience in a laboratory environment or in supporting laboratory systems
  • Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle methodologies including Agile and Waterfall methods Assisting in STARLIMS configuration validation,test case development, and quality assurance activities
  • Creating documentation for business requirements, functional specifications, and solution designs Eliciting and documenting business requirements through techniques such as interviews and workshops
  • Analyzing laboratory processes and identifying areas for improvement or automation
  • Engaging stakeholders to understand their needs,provide updates, and manage expectations
  • Analyzing data to provide insights and support decision-making processes
  • Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and user stories
  • Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills
  • Experience with software products including Word, Excel, Visio, and DevOps
Skills:
  • Laboratory experience - clinical or environmental bench work or experience supporting laboratory systems
