Summary:
The Special Education Data Coordinator supports the administration of special education data systems and reporting processes across the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant student data, supporting state and federal reporting requirements, and providing technical assistance to schools and staff on special education data systems and processes. The Special Education Data Coordinator serves as a key resource for electronic IEP management systems, delivers training and professional development on data systems, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and the accurate information needed to support student services and funding. Through strong technical expertise, customer service, and attention to detail, this role helps ensure schools have the tools and information necessary to effectively serve students with disabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize and maintain several student data management systems
Generate, verify, and upload data as required by state and federal reporting agencies
Provides weekly data verification updates to 105 schools
Serve as a resource to the Special Education team for validation of compliance and reporting requirements
Provide professional development in associated software and systems
Provides daily help desk support to Special Education Providers in the electronic IEP system processes.
Work closely with the Senior Manager of Special Education and Special Education Department to ensure compliance and maximization of special education funding
Serve as a liaison to support inter and intra departmental coordination
Provides IEP management systems training across 9 states (MIPSE, Tienet, CECAS/ECATs, Oasis, etc)
Provide data reports for internal monitoring for the SE Department and other Departments as requested
Support data collection for on-site monitoring visits at time of renewals, and state monitoring visits
Support data collection for state, OCR, Due Process complaints
Assist with additional special education projects as needed.
