    Bring real-world parts to life in SolidWorks

    Each morning in North Little Rock, you’ll open a new set of customer drawings. By mid-day, you’ve translated concepts into clean SolidWorks models, produced shop-ready details, and walked out to the floor to review fit, finish, and tolerances with the fabrication crew. By the afternoon, you’ve finalized production files so steel becomes product—fast, accurate, and buildable.

    What you’ll do

    • Convert customer concepts and drawings into SolidWorks models and clear fabrication details
    • Produce accurate shop drawings and production-ready files that flow smoothly to the floor
    • Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to resolve questions before parts are cut
    • Apply sound understanding of dimensions, GD&T/tolerances, materials, and basic fab processes
    • Review manufacturability and ensure drawings match how parts will actually be built

    What you bring

    • Proficiency with SolidWorks and strong CAD drafting fundamentals
    • Ability to read and interpret fabrication/manufacturing drawings
    • Meticulous attention to detail and comfort working shoulder-to-shoulder with production
    • Background in steel fabrication or manufacturing is a significant plus

    An engineering degree isn’t required—hands-on experience and SolidWorks mastery matter most.
