Position Overview: We are seeking a Software Engineer, Growth to build the systems, data infrastructure, internal tools, and AI-powered workflows that support and scale the company's sales organization. The Software Engineer, Growth will work closely with sales teams and customers to turn fragmented industry data into scalable pipelines, automate sales processes, and develop intelligent systems that improve prospecting and revenue generation. This role is ideal for a Software Engineer, Growth who enjoys building products from the ground up, working with AI and LLMs, and operating in a fast-moving startup environment. Responsibilities of the Software Engineer, Growth:- Build scalable data infrastructure that transforms fragmented data into prospecting pipelines.
- Develop internal tools that improve sales team productivity and effectiveness.
- Build outbound automation, lead routing, sequencing, and deal-room tooling.
- Apply AI and LLM technologies to unstructured data and generate actionable signals.
- Build intelligent agents that automate and enhance sales workflows.
- Design and work with scalable databases and APIs.
- Partner closely with sales teams and customers to understand business needs.
- Own projects from initial concept through development, deployment, and iteration.
- Develop high-quality software designed for scalability and long-term growth.
- Contribute to technical architecture and engineering decisions.
- Help identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
Required Experience/Skills for the Software Engineer, Growth:- 2-7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Strong hands-on experience with AI, LLMs, or AI-powered applications.
- Proven track record of building and shipping products or systems from the ground up.
- Experience designing and working with scalable databases and APIs.
- Ability to think in systems rather than individual tickets or tasks.
- Experience developing high-quality software in fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take ownership and drive projects from concept through delivery.
- A strong interest in using AI as a core part of the software development process.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Software Engineer, Growth:- Startup experience, particularly within a Series A, B, or C company.
- Experience working at both a larger organization and a fast-paced startup.
- Experience as an early engineer or technical co-founder.
- Experience working with messy, fragmented, or real-world data.
- Experience with sales and marketing automation platforms such as Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, or Apollo.
- Experience developing AI agents or automated workflows.
- Experience with customer-facing technical work.
- Side projects or entrepreneurial software development experience.
- Familiarity with building systems for sales, growth, or revenue operations.
- Experience as a Software Engineer, Growth or in a similar growth-focused engineering role.
Education Requirements:- No specific degree required but equivalent professional experience in software engineering, AI, data infrastructure, or application development will be considered.
