Role Description
We are seeking experienced Software Data Engineers with 10+ years of relevant experience to support the design and development of a strategic data platform.

Role Objectives

• The role will support the development of a strategic data platform across a large financial services environment.
• The position will be involved in the active development of the data platform, beginning with the establishment of a reference data system for securities and pricing data, and later expanding to other data domains.
• The consulting team will follow established internal development standards and contribute to the overall data platform agenda.
• The implementation of the strategic platform on Azure Cloud will require strong hands-on experience with the technologies and solutions listed below.

Qualifications and Skills

• Full Stack Python/PySpark Developer
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with Azure Cloud experience
• Experience implementing solutions using:
  • Azure Cloud Services
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Data Lake Gen2
  • Azure Databases
  • Azure Data Fabric
  • API Gateway Management
  • Azure Functions
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks
• Strong SQL skills with RDBMS or NoSQL databases
• Experience developing APIs using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks
• Familiarity with the DevOps lifecycle, including Git, Jenkins, and related tools
• Experience with CI/CD processes
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes
• Experience in financial services, including financial instruments, asset classes, and market data, is a plus
