    Position Summary

    The Social Media Content Specialist is responsible for developing compelling, audience-focused social media content that supports TransPerfect’s marketing initiatives and business priorities while maintaining a consistent brand voice.

    Working closely with the comms manager, marketing vertical leads, and social media operations, this role transforms complex products, customer stories, company news, and industry topics into engaging content tailored to each platform and audience.

    The role is primarily focused on content development and editorial quality, with publishing, scheduling, and other channel logistics managed separately.

    Key Responsibilities

    Content Development

    • Write high-quality social media content supporting product launches, customer stories, company announcements, thought leadership, events, webinars, campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.

    • Translate complex technical and industry topics into engaging, audience-appropriate social content.

    • Develop content from a wide variety of source materials, including blog posts, press releases, case studies, presentations, webinars, internal announcements, customer conversations, interviews, and marketing campaigns.

    • Tailor messaging for different social platforms while maintaining a consistent brand voice.

    Collaboration

    • Partner with the social media operations team to align content development with the social calendar and campaign priorities.

    • Collaborate with marketing vertical leads to gather information, clarify messaging, and ensure technical accuracy.

    • Offer editorial recommendations that strengthen clarity, storytelling, and audience engagement while respecting business priorities and stakeholder expertise.

    Editorial Excellence

    • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of TransPerfect’s products, services, industries, customers, and brand positioning.

    • Ensure consistency in voice, tone, style, and messaging across social channels.

    • Apply strong editorial judgment to improve content quality before publication.

    • Produce content requiring minimal editorial revision while remaining receptive to stakeholder feedback.

    Process Improvement

    • Help establish best practices, templates, and editorial guidelines for social media content development.

    • Identify opportunities to repurpose existing marketing content into effective social media assets.

    • Work with social media operations to streamline the workflow from content development and approval through scheduling and publication.

    Job requirements

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

    • Approximately 3 to 5 years of professional writing experience, preferably in B2B marketing.

    • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

    • Experience translating complex technical or business concepts into engaging content for professional audiences.

    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to editorial quality.

    Preferred

    • Experience writing social media content for enterprise B2B organizations.

    • Familiarity with technology, AI, localization, life sciences, legal, or other complex industries.

    • Experience adapting long-form content into social-first formats.

    • Understanding of LinkedIn and other professional social platforms and their content best practices.

    • Familiarity with social media analytics and how performance insights can inform content development.
