About Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods (NECN)
As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit with over 50 years of experience, NECN supports community-driven ideas into tangible outcomes by supporting community projects, organizations, and people. By bringing together renters, homeowners, businesses, and local organizations, we empower all residents to participate in shaping the community's future. We believe a city is more than its individual parts and are committed to strengthening these connections.
NECN is beginning to implement a new three-year strategic plan. Our organizational interests are rooted in building a stronger, more inclusive, and sustainable community coalition. The plan is structured around five pillars: Organizational Sustainability, Organizational Infrastructure, Training, Anti-Racism/Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA), and Engagement. Our engagement pillar focuses on improving outcomes through culturally relevant, inclusive, and consistent outreach and engagement. Over the next three years, we will expand our communications, digital strategies, and teams to achieve these goals and foster greater community impact and connection.
We are guided by the values of transparency, equity, sustainability, community, and collaboration in our work.
Let's work together to get your voices heard!
