Duration : 6 months on W2 (Part Time)About the job:
*** is piloting reusable packaging in San Francisco as part of its efforts to reduce packaging waste associated with food delivery. The Reusable Packaging Ambassador will provide on-the-ground support for the pilot, including recruiting merchant participants, supporting consumer marketing and operations, monitoring return points, raising local awareness, and engaging with consumers and community groups.
Responsibilities:- Recruit restaurant partners to participate in the reusable packaging pilot.
- Pitch the reusable packaging program to restaurant owners and secure their participation.
- Provide onboarding support to participating restaurants, including:
- Demonstrating sample reusable packaging inventory.
- Training restaurants on the packaging order portal.
- Help restaurants promote reusable packaging through the *** app, on-site marketing, and signage.
- Distribute handouts and marketing materials to merchants.
- Raise local awareness of the reusable packaging initiative.
- Engage directly with local consumers and community groups at events such as:
- Farmers markets
- Beach cleanups
- Other community events
- Monitor reusable packaging return points and support day-to-day pilot operations.
Requirements:- Must be available to contribute 6 hours per week for 6 months.
- 2 5 years of experience in sales, customer service, and/or marketing.
- Experience supporting pilot programs and/or community engagement campaigns.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable approaching and engaging with restaurant owners, consumers, and community members.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in or with
restaurants is preferred but not required.
