Service Department Assistant

RTD Talent Solutions is currently representing a client in the industrial maintenance and reliability equipment industry that is seeking a Service Department Assistant in Doral, Florida.

Our client specializes in laser alignment, ultrasound, condition monitoring, and induction heating equipment, with service, repair, and training capabilities supporting industrial customers across the United States.

As Service Department Assistant, you would provide administrative and customer service support to the Repair Service and Maintenance team, coordinating incoming customer equipment with shipping, receiving, and repair technicians.

Key job duties, among others:

• Log and track repair requests, verify customer and equipment data in Salesforce, and maintain service records.
• Keep customers informed of service status.
• Prepare packing lists, shipping labels, and export documents when needed.
• Issue service quotes and invoices, calculate shipping insurance and sales tax, and process credit card payments.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, 2+ years of experience in office administration, customer service, or logistics/shipping support, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Candidates must be comfortable learning internal ERP and repair tracking software. The role includes lifting up to 30 lbs. and periods of standing or moving around the intake area.

Experience in a technical, industrial, or manufacturing service environment and familiarity with bookkeeping are preferred.
