Urban Grub is looking for experienced, dynamic Servers who are passionate about providing exceptional dining experiences. As a cornerstone of our team, the ideal candidate will be driven by creating memorable moments for our guests and have an extensive knowledge of food and wine. This is a role for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple responsibilities, and always keeps a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with guests, providing top-notch customer service that enhances their dining experience and encourages repeat visits.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, offering recommendations based on knowledge of our diverse menu and wine list.
- Multitask efficiently to ensure prompt delivery of orders, while also maintaining a friendly demeanor, even during peak dining hours.
- Handle payments, ensuring accurate processing of cash or card transactions.
- Cooperate with team members to create a smooth, seamless dining experience for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a server in the hospitality industry.
- Basic knowledge of food and wine.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests and build rapport.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, particularly Saturdays and Sundays.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
