Key Responsibilities for the Senior Tax Associate:

• 
  
• Retrieve, review, and reconcile monthly multi-state sales and income tax data to ensure accuracy and compliance
• 
  
• Review exemption certificates and validate documentation in accordance with applicable sales tax regulations
• 
  
• Reconcile tax accounts, prepare supporting schedules for the General Ledger team, and investigate variances
• 
  
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on taxability matters and assist with resolving tax-related inquiries
• 
  
• Support property tax compliance, filings, and reporting requirements
• 
  
• Establish new sales tax registrations and maintain compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• 
  
• Partner with HR and other departments on payroll tax matters and related reporting requirements
• 
  

Qualifications for the Senior Tax Associate:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field
• 
  
• 3 – 5 years of corporate tax experience
• 
  
• Experience in sales tax and income tax with knowledge of property tax and payroll tax regulations
• 
  
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliation functions
•
