Senior Tax Advisor - Boston - Hybrid 

A Boston-based professional services firm is seeking a Senior Tax Advisor with 5-12 years of experience to support sophisticated individual, trust, estate, fiduciary, and partnership tax engagements.

This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional with deep preparation and review experience who enjoys managing complex returns, advising on tax matters, and working closely with clients and professional partners.
 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, and related K-1s.

• Handle complex trust, estate, fiduciary, partnership, and individual tax returns.

• Review tax projections, estimates, and fiduciary accounting transactions.

• Research tax matters, monitor legislative changes, and resolve tax notices.

• Coordinate with clients, trustees, attorneys, and internal team members.

• Manage multiple engagements and deadlines throughout the tax year.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting, plus 5-12+ years of progressive tax experience.

• Strong hands-on preparation and review experience across individual, fiduciary, trust, and partnership returns.

• CPA, EA, or MST highly preferred.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Private Client Tax professional to move out of public accounting and join a well-respected team. The role is onsite 3 days per week, and the expected compensation range is between $140K-$180K, depending on experience.
