Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in Oracle PLSQL to design develop and optimize database solutions within the Oracle DBODIPLSQL skill cluster family
Job Description
Design develop and maintain complex Oracle PLSQL programs and scripts to support business applications Analyze and optimize existing PLSQL code for performance improvements and scalability Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and translate data requirements into efficient database solutions Develop and implement database objects such as stored procedures functions packages triggers and views Ensure data integrity security and compliance with organizational standards Utilize Oracle Data Integrator ODI tools to support data integration and migration tasks Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability Document database designs coding standards and operational procedures Stay updated with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the development and enhancement of PLSQL programs aligned with business needs Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on PLSQL coding standards and best practices Participate in requirement analysis design reviews and code walkthroughs Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to ensure database solutions meet functional specifications Conduct performance tuning and query optimization to improve system efficiency Manage and support Oracle database environments including backup recovery and security aspects Coordinate with testing teams to ensure thorough validation of database components Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to PLSQL and database operations Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Oracle DBODIPLSQL skill cluster family
