Senior Program Manager (Contract)

Acquisitions close on paper long before they are real in practice. As a Senior Program Manager, you will be the person who makes them real, connecting technology integration, infrastructure, and facilities work into one program that leaders can actually see and steer.

This is a Think Company staffing opportunity supporting an enterprise client through a period of significant growth and change.

Quick facts

• Location: U.S. Remote
• Engagement type: 1099 Contract
• Travel: Occasional travel to client sites for office and facility buildouts
• Salary range: $60-$70/hr

What you bring

• A track record of leading large, complex programs with multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and moving dependencies
• Depth in at least one of these program types: M&A integration, infrastructure, technology integration, or office and facility buildouts
• Experience navigating large, matrixed organizations where structure is layered and priorities shift
• The ability to translate between technical teams and senior executives, changing the level of detail without losing the substance
• Strong organizational instincts - you build the plan, the cadence, and the reporting rhythm rather than waiting for someone to hand you one
• Communication that keeps stakeholders genuinely informed without burying them
• Comfort operating independently and making progress in a fast-moving environment

Nice-to-haves

• Depth in more than one of the program types above
• Familiarity with post-close integration work such as Day 1 readiness, transition services, and cutover sequencing
• Experience coordinating external vendors, contractors, or systems integrators
• A consulting or client-facing delivery background
• Fluency with program planning and reporting tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, or Asana
• Experience using AI tools to speed up status reporting, documentation, or risk tracking
