Senior Power BI Project Manager

Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr

Job Overview:

The Project Manager oversees reporting and analytics efforts relating to dashboard development. The Project Manager works cross functionally with Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management, delivering actionable data insights through Power BI solutions. The candidate ensures cost and schedule conformance on assigned projects by developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that support key KPI tracking. A successful candidate should be able to: demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; be a self-starter with a track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions to complex problems; demonstrate attention to detail with strong organizational skills; demonstrate strong analytical skills and contribute to the development of new reporting tools and procedures; understand various manufacturing processes and methods; and excel in a fast-paced environment, including public speaking and creating formal presentations. Work environment: Office/Cubical.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support manufacturing and operational performance.
• Create and maintain data models, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Develop DAX measures and calculations to support KPI tracking and business reporting.
• Build and maintain Power Query transformations and data preparation processes.
• Create visualizations and reporting solutions that support business decision-making.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate business needs into reporting solutions.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and maintain reporting governance standards.
• Optimize Power BI reports and data models for performance and scalability.
• Write SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and reporting needs.
• Monitor and report on key operational, financial, and schedule metrics.

Qualifications:

Requires strong knowledge of job area. Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management. Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
