Senior Maintenance Supervisor – The Point at Dunn Loring

Location: 2677 Avenir Place, Vienna, VA 22180
Pay Range: $44 - $48 per hour, plus monthly renewal commissions and quarterly bonus opportunities
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; backup on-call coverage required
Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 one-time bonus

We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Supervisor to lead the onsite maintenance team at The Point at Dunn Loring. What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, schedule, and support the onsite maintenance team
• Partner closely with the Property Manager and onsite management team to achieve property goals
• Train and onboard new maintenance team members
• Ensure resident service requests are completed promptly, professionally, and to a high standard
• Oversee plumbing, appliance, electrical, HVAC, and general community repairs
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and property inspections
• Coordinate apartment turnovers to ensure homes are ready for move-in
• Maintain inventory and oversee the ordering and delivery of approved supplies and equipment
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, company standards, and safety procedures
• Build productive relationships with vendors and service partners
• Monitor maintenance expenses and support property budgeting objectives
• Manage the maintenance schedule to ensure reliable 24/7 emergency coverage
• Participate in emergency and backup on-call coverage when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Must live within 30 minutes of the property
• Valid driver’s license required
• At least 1–3 years of leadership experience as a Maintenance Supervisor
• Strong knowledge of multifamily property maintenance and building systems
• Hands-on experience with plumbing, appliances, electrical repairs, and HVAC troubleshooting
• HVAC certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Proven ability to lead employees and manage multiple projects and priorities
• Strong communication, organization, and resident-service skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and property management or maintenance software
• Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal codes and regulations
• A positive, solutions-focused leadership style
• Availability to assist during emergencies, including weekends and holidays when necessary
• Successful completion of required background and drug screenings before employment
