Account Manager – Landscape Sales

Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care

Northern Virginia | Full-Time | Base Salary + Commission

About the Role

Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care is hiring a full-time Account Manager to manage an established base of residential landscape clients in Northern Virginia.

You'll meet with clients at their properties, identify opportunities for improvement, recommend projects, and close sales. This role combines account management, sales, and landscape knowledge.

What You'll Do

  • Meet with existing clients at their properties and build long-term relationships
  • Walk properties to identify improvement opportunities
  • Recommend projects such as planting, drainage, sod, and landscape enhancements
  • Prepare clear, professional quotes and close sales
  • Upgrade clients into better-aligned service programs
  • Generate referrals and develop new business
  • Track opportunities in a CRM system
  • Work with the operations team to ensure strong execution

Qualifications

  • Experience in account management, outside sales, or consultative sales
  • Landscape industry experience (maintenance, installation, or related field)
  • Solid understanding of plants, turf, and growing conditions in Northern Virginia
  • Comfortable closing sales and guiding clients to decisions
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Valid driver's license

You don't need to be a landscape designer — but you do need a solid horticultural foundation and the confidence to guide clients on improvements.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is based on experience, plus commission on projects and upgrades — with no cap on earning potential.
