Job Summary

Support daily third-party logistics operations, manage carrier performance, coordinate outbound shipments, monitor key performance indicators, and improve transportation processes. The ideal candidate has three to five years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, dispatch, or supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• 
  Coordinate third-party logistics operations, including intermodal, over-the-road, and cross-border freight.
  
• 
  Manage outbound less-than-truckload, full-truckload, and intermodal shipments from planning through delivery.
  
• 
  Coordinate dedicated truck operations and load planning.
  
• 
  Monitor carrier performance and key performance indicators while maintaining strong carrier relationships.
  
• 
  Use transportation, warehouse, and yard management systems to manage shipment data.
  
• 
  Track shipments, ensure timely proof-of-delivery collection, and support invoicing.
  
• 
  Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve transportation efficiency and carrier utilization.
  
• 
  Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
  

Requirements

• 
  Three to five years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, dispatch, or supply chain operations.
  
• 
  Experience with transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, dispatch operations, and carrier management.
  
• 
  Strong analytical skills with experience tracking key performance indicators and identifying process improvements.
  
• 
  Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  
• 
  Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  
• 
  High school diploma or GED required;bachelor's degree preferred.
