Chubb Group of Insurance Companies' House Counsel Department is seeking an Attorney to litigate General Liability/Casualty matters as a member of Chubb's House Counsel firm in locations of Tampa, FL, New York, NY and/or Los Angeles, CA.\n \nAs a member of Chubb House Counsel, this attorney will be responsible for defending Chubb-insured individual and institutional clients in matters, involving premises liability, transportation/motor vehicle accidents, construction site accidents, elevator accidents, product liability, industrial accidents, municipal liability, contractual indemnity, presenting bodily injury, wrongful death, property damages, medical expenses and economic damages.\n \nClients to be represented encompass individuals, large publicly traded corporations, privately held organizations, not for profit organizations, educational institutions, health industry institutions, cultural institutions, condominium/cooperative/homeowner association boards of directors, financial services institutions, real estate developers and managers, and technology companies.\n \nResponsibilities and expectations can include: trial work, appellate work, mediations and arbitrations, depositions, pre-trial investigation and discovery, pleadings, dispositive motion practice, formal written analysis and evaluation of complex legal issues and litigation strategies to clients and insurer's Claim professionals, commitment to customer service, on-going communication, and responsiveness\n\n J.D. Degree from Accredited Law School\n 5+ years of experience successfully litigating employment liability, housing discrimination, wage and hour, ADA claims, directors and officers claims before New York/Los Angles/Florida State and Federal courts and administrative agencies, including EEOC. \n Extensive knowledge of current procedural and substantive law, as well as federal and state court and administrative agency rules regarding employment/housing discrimination. \n Sophisticated and effective oral and written advocacy skills and negotiation skills. \n Critical thinking and analytical skills necessary to accurately analyze, evaluate, and develop strategy for resolving complex legal liability and damages issues.\n Enthusiasm and skills necessary to provide excellent customer service through professional, proactive, timely, and consistent communication with clients, insurer's Claim professionals, and colleagues.\n Proficiency utilizing digital case management and communication technology and tools, in order to optimize performance, efficiency, and results Technology skills to thrive as a litigator in a digital environment\n Strong team player willing to work effectively with others, at all levels and to step outside a defined role where required to advance the firm's business\n* Excellent time management and organizational skill with the ability to work independently and excel in a high-volume environment.\n\n
