The Senior Line Cook plays an important role in keeping service organized, stations prepared, and food going out correctly and on time. This is not a management position, but it does require strong cooking skills, a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to help keep the kitchen running smoothly during prep and service.

  • Monitor product levels and communicate prep or inventory needs to kitchen leadership
  • Assist with organizing prep, labeling, dating, and proper food storage
  • Support smooth kitchen flow by helping keep stations clean, stocked, and service-ready
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
  • Assist with training and guiding less experienced cooks through example and day-to-day support
  • Help uphold kitchen standards for organization, urgency, teamwork, and accountability
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including equipment, tools, and surfaces
  • Follow all company policies, kitchen procedures, and health department regulations
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook required
  • Strong cooking skills and understanding of basic kitchen operations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow recipes, prep lists, and direction consistently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Hotel, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen experience preferred

What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is dependable, experienced, and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who can handle added responsibility, help maintain kitchen standards, and be counted on to support the team during busy shifts.

Schedule

  • Flexible schedule required
  • Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Bend, reach, lift, and move throughout the shift
