Senior Implementation Accountant


Denver, CO (Hybrid with Travel to South Carolina)


Salary Range: $100-135k
Schedule: 40-50 hours per week
Location: Denver, CO with travel up to 50% of the time


Overview


A growing construction-related organization is seeking a Senior Implementation Accountant to support and complete a large-scale ComputerEase implementation project tied to a recently acquired operation. The Senior Implementation Accountant will be based in the Denver area while partnering closely with teams in South Carolina to ensure a successful ERP conversion and accounting data migration.


This Senior Implementation Accountant role offers the opportunity to lead a high-impact initiative involving accounting systems, process improvement, data conversion, and operational collaboration.


Core Responsibilities


The Senior Implementation Accountant will:



  • Lead completion of an active ComputerEase implementation.

  • Travel up to 50% of the time to support onsite project needs and stakeholder collaboration.

  • Convert historical and current-year financial and project data from legacy systems into ComputerEase.

  • Validate system outputs and reconcile migrated information.

  • Establish accounting processes and support documentation efforts.

  • Assist with job costing structures, project tracking, and reporting enhancements.

  • Develop standard operating procedures for ongoing system utilization.

  • Partner with finance and operational teams to resolve implementation challenges.

  • Recommend process improvements and best practices.


Qualifications


Required



  • 4+ years of accounting, ERP implementation, accounting systems, or conversion experience.

  • Hands-on ComputerEase experience.

  • Strong accounting foundation with financial reporting knowledge.

  • Experience migrating and validating accounting data.

  • Ability to work independently and drive project milestones.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred



  • Construction accounting experience.

  • Experience with job costing and WIP schedules.

  • CPA designation or CPA-track background.

  • Prior ERP conversion or acquisition integration experience.

  • Experience supporting multi-location operations.


Technical Skills



  • ComputerEase expertise preferred.

  • BusinessWorks, Sage, or related ERP/accounting platform experience preferred.

  • Intermediate Excel skills including reconciliations and data validation.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
