Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Administrator to support HR operations across a multi-entity organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of Human Resources processes while serving as a subject matter resource for HR administrative operations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in benefits administration, leave management, compliance, HRIS systems, onboarding and offboarding processes, employee records management, and Human Resources best practices. This role also partners with HR leadership to improve processes, support training initiatives, and provide guidance to HR administrative staff.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Human Resources Administrator, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Supporting HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee transactions, and personnel records.
Managing benefits administration and complex leave matters while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Monitoring HR compliance requirements and assisting with audits, reporting, and corrective actions.
Responding to escalated HR inquiries and providing guidance on HR processes, policies, and procedures.
Partnering with HR leadership to develop and improve forms, templates, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within HR processes.
Coordinating training programs and tracking compliance requirements across affiliated companies.
Serving as a resource and escalation point for HR administrative staff.
Assisting hiring managers and HR team members with onboarding and talent acquisition support as needed.
Maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive employee information.
Supporting additional HR initiatives and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of progressive Human Resources administrative experience; 6+ years preferred.
Experience with benefits administration and leave management.
Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws.
Advanced proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience supporting compliance reporting, audits, and employee record maintenance.
Ability to train, mentor, and guide HR administrative staff.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Multi-site or multi-entity HR experience preferred.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
