Position Overview
The Senior Hospital Account Executive is a field-based sales role focused on developing new business opportunities within hospitals and health systems. This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, navigating complex healthcare environments, and closing new business.
The successful candidate will work directly with hospital executives, cardiovascular service line leaders, physicians, and key stakeholders to identify opportunities, present solutions, and expand adoption of CDL's CardioNavix platform.
This is a highly visible role with significant opportunity for growth and earnings through a competitive incentive plan.
Key Responsibilities
Drive New Business Development
Identify, prospect, and develop opportunities within hospitals, health systems, and healthcare organizations throughout the assigned territory.
Build Strategic Relationships
Develop trusted relationships with hospital executives, administrators, physicians, cardiovascular leaders, and decision-makers.
Grow Market Presence
Create and execute territory plans designed to increase awareness, generate qualified opportunities, and drive sales growth.
Navigate Complex Healthcare Organizations
Successfully engage multiple stakeholders and guide opportunities through the hospital buying process.
Manage Sales Pipeline
Utilize CRM systems to manage activity, forecast opportunities, and maintain accurate sales records.
Represent CDL in the Marketplace
Attend customer meetings, industry conferences, and networking events while serving as a brand ambassador for CDL.
Achieve Growth Objectives
Consistently meet or exceed sales goals while contributing to the overall expansion of the CardioNavix platform.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sales Experience
3+ years of successful B2B sales experience with a proven track record of generating new business.
Strong consideration will be given to candidates from:
Healthcare Market Knowledge
Experience selling into hospitals, health systems, physician groups, service lines, or healthcare organizations preferred.
Prospecting & Relationship Building
Demonstrated success developing opportunities through direct outreach, relationship management, and consultative sales techniques.
Technical Skills
Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
️ Travel
Ability to travel approximately 75% throughout assigned territories.
