Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake Migration & Cloud Data Platform

Description
Senior-level engineer providing architecture, hands-on development, and technical leadership across enterprise applications, data, cloud, and AI initiatives. This role leads Snowflake migration efforts and drives modernization of the broader data platform ecosystem.

Essential Functions

• Lead Snowflake migration: data migration, services migration, fast-access database migration, and enterprise service integrations
• Build reusable solutions that improve data access, application scalability, security, governance, and long-term maintainability
• Design and support solutions using Java, Python, Node, React, AI frameworks, Cloudera Data Platform, DB2, and Fast Access Databases
• Lead centralized data classification, GW Chat integration, agentic application development, member longitudinal summary work, vulnerability remediation automation, and legacy modernization efforts
• Provide deep technical guidance on the Cloudera Data Platform ecosystem — supporting current workloads, modernization planning, and migration readiness

5 years professional experience in technical design and coding; senior-level architecture experience across data/cloud/AI initiatives

Education
Related Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Work Environment
Hybrid — schedule determined by role requirements/business needs. Occasional travel to corporate/regional offices may be required.
