Job Summary :

The Senior Client Relationship Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the bank's relationship management efforts by processing a variety of client's financial transactions, ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining client records, and facilitating smooth communication between clients and internal departments . This role requires highly experienced and motivated professionals with a strong background in financial institution and commitment to delivering exceptional service and driving client satisfaction . In addition to client-facing responsibilities, the candidate will contribute to team development through cross-training and knowledge sharing , helping to build a collaborative work environment. A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and strict adherence to internal policies and procedures are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer banking transactions including but not limited to uncommitted/committed loans, foreign exchange, all types of deposit booked in New York Branch

  • Collect, retrieve, verify, and update client profile documents, including company information, authorized signers/users, and product-specific access rights.

  • Upload and manage digital files in the internal system, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

  • Provide back-up support to other staff members to maintain department productivity standards

  • Provide support related to client onboarding and maintenance

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance standards in all client interactions.

  • Client Management: Develop strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their business objectives .

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Group Head and senio r staffs to develop and implement client relationship strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives .

  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve complex client issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in client relationship management in Banking or financial services

  • Strong knowledge of banking products, services and regulatory requirements

  • Bilingual English/Japanese and multilingual ability may be advantageous

Skills:

  • Excellent communication , interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions and documentation

  • Experience leading or coordinating cross functional projects

  • Ability to cross-train team members to foster a collaborative team environment

The expected base salary ranges from $64,500- $75,000 Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
