Job Details

We're looking for a customer-focused, results-driven Inside Manager to lead our Customer Service and Inside Sales team while supporting our growing retail and foodservice business across the Western U.S.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for managing key customer relationships, leading a team of Customer Service Representatives, driving revenue growth within existing accounts, and partnering with Operations and Logistics to ensure flawless order execution. What You'll Do:
  • Manage and grow relationships with retail, regional, independent, distributor, and foodservice customers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through proactive communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Monitor customer buying patterns and order cadence to improve forecasting and service levels.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs, delivery issues, and account support.
  • Grow revenue within existing customer accounts through upselling and increased account penetration.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to maximize inventory movement and profitability.
  • Help customers maximize truck utilization through efficient order planning.
  • Coordinate daily order flow between customers, Operations, Transportation, and Scheduling.
  • Optimize truckloads, freight utilization, routing, and shipment efficiency.
  • Monitor fill rates, delivery performance, and customer service metrics.
  • Support forecasting, scheduling priorities, and demand planning.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Customer Service Representative team.
  • Support new customer onboarding, item setup, and implementation of new programs.

What We're Looking For:
  • 4-10 years of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service Management, Account Management, Logistics Coordination, or Supply Chain Operations.
  • Previous people leadership or management experience.
  • Strong customer relationship management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and order management software.
  • Experience within the protein, meat processing, food manufacturing, foodservice, or CPG industries.
  • Experience supporting retail, independent retailers, distributors, or foodservice customers.
  • Truckload optimization, freight coordination, routing, or transportation planning experience.
  • Knowledge of distribution and supply chain operations.
