    CTG is seeking an experienced communications professional to drive internal communications and employee engagement initiatives across the organization. This role is ideal for a creative storyteller who excels at translating complex business and technical concepts into clear, engaging messaging while producing executive-level presentations and communication materials.

     

    Location: Buffalo, NY

    Duration: 12 months

     

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute internal communication strategies that support business, operational, and organizational initiatives.
    • Create compelling communications for change management, employee engagement, and leadership messaging.
    • Translate technical concepts into clear, concise, audience-focused communications.
    • Design executive-quality PowerPoint presentations using graphics, charts, images, and visual storytelling techniques.
    • Develop internal marketing materials, emails, presentations, meeting content, newsletters, and IT project communications.
    • Manage and maintain divisional intranet content to ensure information is current, engaging, and accessible.
    • Coordinate communication plans for major organizational announcements and initiatives.
    • Evaluate and implement new communication channels and best practices.
    • Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging.
    • Respond to employee communication inquiries and support organizational change initiatives.
    • Promote an inclusive workplace culture that reflects the organization's values and brand.
    • Maintain internal control standards and complete other duties as assigned.

    Scope of Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a trusted communications advisor to business leaders.
    • Lead communication efforts for strategic business and technology initiatives.
    • Independently manage multiple communication projects from concept through execution.
    • Produce high-quality written and visual communications for diverse internal audiences.
    • Recommend innovative communication strategies to improve employee awareness and engagement.

    Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

    • May serve as a team lead on communication projects and initiatives.
    • No direct supervisory responsibilities.

    Education and Experience Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 7+ years of corporate or business communications experience.
    • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
    • Expert ability to create professional PowerPoint presentations using graphics, charts, images, and visual design principles.
    • Demonstrated experience creating executive communications, internal messaging, and marketing materials.
    • Proven ability to translate technical information into user-friendly communications.
    • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Self-motivated professional capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.

    Education and Experience Preferred:

    • Experience supporting IT organizations or technology initiatives.
    • Experience with organizational change management and employee engagement communications.
    • Experience managing intranet or digital communication platforms.
    • Background in a large corporate or highly regulated environment.

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
