Role Overview
This role provides advanced technical analysis for a transportation product suite, serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical product teams. The analyst ensures alignment of business needs, technical feasibility, and prioritization throughout the full software delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Support software product delivery from planning through implementation and stabilization
Facilitate collaboration across business users, developers, product owners, and enterprise architects
Develop and maintain product roadmaps, release schedules, and upgrade timelines
Translate business requirements into actionable development tasks with clear acceptance criteria
Serve as end-user liaison for integrations, custom development, issue resolution, and post-deployment support
Support prototyping, feasibility reviews, user validation, and testing activities
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT product development, engineering, or project delivery
Minimum 5 years leading cross-functional teams through complex technology solution delivery in high-tech or government environments
Experience coordinating software/system integration and post-deployment readiness
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - required
Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present technical content to diverse audiences
Preferred Skills
Experience with AASHTOWare suite (configuration, implementation, or integration)
Familiarity with agile delivery methods, backlog grooming, and sprint planning
SharePoint 365, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft DevOps
Experience with government procurement and IT project governance
Education
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field required. Equivalent work experience may substitute.
