Pay: Up to $75,000+ per year, based on experience

Accountant – Must-Have Requirements

• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong A/R and A/P experience
• Experience with account and bank reconciliations
• Month-end closing experience
• Fixed assets and depreciation experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with ERP or accounting software
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred
• JobBOSS experience is a plus

Accountant – Position Summary

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records and supporting the timely completion of the company's accounting functions.

This position will handle A/R, A/P, reconciliations, invoicing, vendor payments, fixed assets, depreciation, budgeting, cost analysis, financial reporting, tax support, and month-end closing activities.

The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to identify problems, research solutions, and follow through to resolution.

Accountant – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and current financial records
• Prepare and issue customer invoices
• Process vendor invoices and payments
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• Assist with month-end closing
• Monitor and maintain company and departmental budgets
• Identify and explain significant budget variances
• Perform job costing and production cost analysis
• Prepare financial reports and accounting documentation
• Support tax reporting and compliance activities
• Work with the company's CPA as needed
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Maintain appropriate documentation for financial transactions
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and up to date
• Handle confidential financial and employee information
• Communicate with management, employees, customers, vendors, financial institutions, and outside accounting professionals

Accountant – Additional Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience
• Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and cost analysis
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• 10-key data entry experience
• Experience with ERP/MRP and accounting software
• JobBOSS experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but equivalent accounting experience may be considered
