Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: San Francisco, CA, 94107
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Shift Timings: 9am to 5:30pm or 9am to 6pm

Job Description:

This position is for an experienced Senior Accountant to support the general accounting operations with a dynamic team in the CBS Interactive division and Direct-to-Consumer segment.
The role requires a team player who is eager to learn new skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment working on projects of all sizes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conduct month-end and quarter-end close and take ownership of journal entries preparation, account reconciliations and analysis
Take charge of full cycle intercompany process and reporting of various divisions and liaison with internal and external business partners
Take part in various quarterly and annual reporting to Corporate
Perform flux analysis on Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
Participate in SOX testing, audits, and annual tax package preparation
Provide backup coverage in other accounting areas
Contribute to department and organization special projects, as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Requires Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
Minimum 4+ years of related experience, with solid accounting concept/knowledge
Solid oral and written communication skills
Strong work ethics and an acute attention to detail
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Timely of communication flow and status on responsibilities and deadlines
Good initiative, with the ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet required deadlines
Strong PC skills including advanced Excel, ability to write complex formulas, and the ability to quickly pick up new systems

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with Oracle Financials and Oracle Fusion or similar systems
Team player and being able to take ownership on projects
Ability to lead and facilitate workflows
