Our client, a Residential Real Estate Investment/Development firm is looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn and grow within a strong, well established firm with solid policies and procedures in place. This position is on a hybrid schedule (3x week), to downtown San Francisco offices, close to public transportation. Excellent Culture and mentorship opportunities within a collaborative team environment.


About the role and your impact:

  • The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a portfolio of properties.
  • Responsible for the full-cycle accounting, taxes, and financial statements for their respective properties.
  • Ensure transactions are in accordance with GAAP
  • Month-End/Year-End Close
  • Prepare journal entries, conduct reconciliations, and lead financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Work with all levels within the organization such as Asset Management, Acquisitions, and Development


What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelors Degree with a preferred major in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Full-Cycle Accounting
  • Strong Analytical Mindset
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger management, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with or an interest in joining the Real Estate industry
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment

Compensation:

  • $110K-$120K base
  • This compensation range is a good faith estimate of the expected wage range you can expect to be paid upon hire.
