Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Senior Accountant job for the corporate office located in San Francisco, CA. The position is 100% in-office and has an early start time of 7am. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a senior level accounting position and be an expert within the construction/engineering industry. You will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions in the general ledger, bank reconciliations, journal entries, payables. provide accurate and timely reporting during the month-end close process, prepare, review and analyze reports, financial reporting and assist on any projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance would be nice to have
• Construction/Engineering industry experience is required)
• Strong General Ledger experience and excellent accounting fundamentals (GAAP)
• Team player but able to work independently
• Attention to detail, proactive, analytical, and organized
• Strong communications (written & verbal)
• Software experience with a large ERP system preferred
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel - Advanced, Word & Outlook)

Experience: 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant

Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00
