    Title: Senior Accountant

    Location: Milwaukee, WI

This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on management of accounting functions, including financial records, tax filings, and financial education for new representatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Accounting Operations: Ensure the accuracy of accounting records and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
    • Tax Compliance: Prepare quarterly IRS tax submissions and collaborate with external accountants for annual federal and state tax filings.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, analyze, and manage office operational budgets. Provide leadership with insights by comparing financial statements to budget projections and recommending corrective actions.
    • Cash Flow Optimization: Track and optimize cash flow through home office reimbursement plans.


    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

    Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, including financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, annual tax filings, payroll, and benefits administration.


    Skills and Certifications:

    • CPA designation or public accounting experience preferred.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly investment-related accounting, is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • Excellent decision-making and analytical skills.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
    • High personal initiative and self-motivation.
