    Responsibilities

    Responsible for academic advising of upper division students in the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice. Serves as mapping coordinator and point of contact for transfer students. Advises upper division students regarding university and degree requirements. Acts as Dean's designee to assist in the resolution of academic issues and concerns. Approves admissions, certifications from lower to upper division, major changes, drop/adds, and processes graduation checks.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and eight years of experience. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)

    Preferred Qualifications

    Preferred qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree, instructional experience, or experience with advising undergraduate students.
