AHS Staffing is seeking a local contract School Occupational Therapist for a local contract job in Denver, Colorado.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License or eligibility for licensure
NBCOT certification preferred
School-based experience preferred, but not required
Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

37.5 Hours per Week
5 Days per Week
$50-$57 per hour
Multiple School Sites
School-Based Setting
Start Date: ASAP
Contract through the 2026-2027 School Year through May 2027

Key Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments to determine students' educational needs
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal requirements
Recommend and assist with adaptive equipment, accommodations, and environmental modifications
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Travel between assigned school sites as required
