About the role
Heritage Building Maintenance is seeking a high-performing Sales Representative to drive business growth and expand our client base. This role is ideal for a motivated, relationship-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
You will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, strengthening client partnerships, and contributing directly to company revenue growth.
Compensation
Competitive base salary of $65,000–$75,000 plus a performance-driven commission structure (based on experience)
Uncapped earning potential, rewarding high performance and sales success
Significant income growth opportunity through new business development and expansion of existing accounts
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
Identify, prospect, and secure new commercial janitorial and facility service accounts
Build and maintain a strong, active sales pipeline
Develop strategic relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders
Client Engagement
Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and site visits
Deliver tailored service proposals and negotiate contracts
Ensure a positive, professional customer experience from lead to close
Networking & Brand Representation
Representing Heritage at industry events, trade associations, and community networking opportunities
Participate in trade shows, client events, and marketing initiatives
Maintain a strong professional presence both in-person and on social platforms
Performance & Accountability
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Track sales activity and pipeline progress consistently
Collaborate with operations to ensure successful service execution and client satisfaction
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of 3 years of outside sales or business development experience
Proven ability to develop and close profitable client relationships
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client meetings
Preferred
Experience in facility services, janitorial, or B2B service sales
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
