The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the Metal Ops- Tampa sales team, driving revenue growth, developing sales strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role oversees recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management while maintaining strong relationships with residential and commercial customers. The Sales Manager works closely with operations and leadership to achieve company sales goals and maintain high customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new sales representatives.
  • Coach and mentor sales staff to improve performance and close rates.
  • Conduct regular ride-alongs, field coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Set individual and team sales goals.
  • Hold weekly sales meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Foster a positive, results-driven team culture.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with key customers, builders, property managers, and contractors.
  • Review and approve proposals, estimates, and contracts.
  • Monitor sales pipeline and forecast monthly and annual revenue.
  • Ensure customers receive professional, timely communication throughout the sales process.
  • Resolve customer concerns and escalated issues.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and encourage referrals and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with production, estimating, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Communicate customer expectations and project details accurately.
  • Monitor project progress and customer follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
    • Sales revenue
    • Close ratio
    • Lead conversion
    • Average job value
    • Customer satisfaction
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Assist in budgeting and sales forecasting.
