    As an Area Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in driving revenue and market share across a portfolio of 2-10 hotels. You'll partner closely with hotel leaders and Directors of Sales to identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships, and bring travelers, groups, and events through our doors.

    What You'll Do

    Drive Business Growth

    • Achieve and exceed assigned sales, revenue, and solicitation goals across your hotel portfolio.
    • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and relationship-building.
    • Develop creative sales strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.

    Build Meaningful Relationships

    • Grow and maintain strong partnerships with corporate accounts, leisure travelers, government organizations, associations, social groups, and event planners.
    • Conduct sales calls, hotel tours, client meetings, and networking events that showcase the best of our properties.
    • Become a trusted hospitality resource for your clients and community partners.

    Stay Ahead of the Market

    • Monitor industry trends, local market activity, and competitor performance.
    • Identify emerging opportunities and develop action plans to capitalize on them.
    • Collaborate with hotel leadership to drive market share and revenue growth.

    Be a Brand Ambassador

    • Represent our hotels at community events, industry associations, trade shows, and networking functions.
    • Create memorable client experiences through exceptional hospitality and service.
    • Help execute sales promotions, blitzes, and special campaigns that generate excitement and results.

    Collaborate for Success

    • Partner with hotel leadership teams to achieve strategic goals.
    • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and company events.
    • Develop a strong understanding of hotel operations to better serve clients and support overall business success.

    What We're Looking For

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build lasting professional relationships.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying highly organized and results-focused.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general business technology.
    • Preferred Qualifications
    • 2+ years of hotel sales experience.
    • Experience in Business Travel, Group Sales, SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal), or Leisure Sales.
    • Knowledge of professional sales techniques, including prospecting, discovery, relationship management, and closing.
