The Sales Assistant will operate as the administrative point of contact on assigned business accounts. The focus of this vital role is to manage the relationship with the client and the internal systems necessary to do so and is responsible for addressing client issues and responding to questions.
OVERVIEW OF YOUR DAILY TASKS:
Builder Profile Management:
Create and maintain detailed builder profiles including relevant specifications, plans, and scopes of work.
Collaborate with the Territory Manager to understand builder’s needs and preferences.
Bid Coordination:
Gather data from various divisions to prepare comprehensive and uniform bids across all scopes of work.
Conduct cost margin analyses to support pricing strategies.
Perform flooring take-offs and compile bid pricing for production folders.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of bids.
Documentation & File Maintenance:
Maintain organized builder files and production folders.
Create production folders with finalized bid pricing and take-offs for order writers.
Reconcile purchase orders to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE TO HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
Familiarity with CRM software preferred
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
