Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including training, development, serving, bussing, hosting, and expediting, while ensuring optimal team performance and customer satisfaction
Manage daily restaurant operations, including scheduling, staff training, and performance evaluations
Monitor and maintain food quality, safety standards, and compliance with health regulations
Handle and resolve employee and guest-related problems, address customer concerns, and provide exceptional service recovery
Manage cash handling, inventory control, and assist with financial reporting
Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and marketing initiatives
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and brand standards
Qualifications
Marriott or hotel F&B experience preferred
Current or previous experience in restaurant roles including hosting, waiting, and cashiering, with a clear pathway to management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management and cost control
Excellent problem solving skills & ability to multi-task
Prior cash handling & experience with TOAST POS system preferred
TIPS or Serve Safe certification required
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Possess working knowledge of computers, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
