Our purpose is simple: Caring for People & Their Spaces.We're looking for an experiencedResidential Construction Sales & Preconstruction Manager to lead our business development and preconstruction efforts throughout the Austin area. This is a client-facing role where you'll build relationships with homeowners, architects, designers, and referral partners while guiding clients through the preconstruction process from the initial consultation to the signed contract.If you enjoy building long-term relationships, collaborating with industry professionals, and helping clients confidently move from concept to construction, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoBusiness Development & Client RelationsDevelop and maintain relationships with homeowners, architects, interior designers, real estate professionals, and referral partners.Generate qualified opportunities through networking, referrals, and community involvement.Represent Skelly Build professionally at industry and community events.Maintain an organized sales pipeline using Pipedrive CRM.Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the preconstruction process.Lead the Preconstruction ProcessConduct discovery meetings to understand each client's goals, budget, and timeline.Coordinate architects, engineers, designers, consultants, and internal team members throughout preconstruction.Partner closely with the Residential Construction Estimator to develop accurate project budgets.Present budgets and proposals while helping clients make informed decisions.Prepare contracts and coordinate a seamless handoff to the Project Management team once projects move into construction.Deliver a responsive, organized, and professional client experience from start to finish.What Success Looks LikeDuring your first year, you'll be successful by:Building a strong referral network throughout the Austin area.Maintaining a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.Converting qualified opportunities into signed construction agreements.Delivering an exceptional client experience throughout the preconstruction process.What We're Looking For5+ years of experience in residential construction, preconstruction, business development, construction sales, or client relationship management.Experience working with homeowners, architects, designers, builders, or residential construction clients.Proven ability to develop relationships that generate new business.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Excellent organization and project management abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Self-motivated with a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.Professional executive presence and outstanding interpersonal skills.Technology You'll UseBuildertrendPipedrive CRMGoogle WorkspaceAI-assisted meeting documentation toolsDigital proposal and document management systemsWork EnvironmentThis position is based in Austin, Texas, with regular local travel for client meetings, networking events, and project site visits.
