Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Rental Equipment Sales professional ready to expand their customer reach. This is an excellent opportunity to learn our product lines and join a growing company with an excellent reputation for providing top-notch service. This position will serve in the Charlotte, NC area and will focus rental efforts on material handling and construction equipment.

Requirements

• Promote and sell rental products and services through active outside sales efforts
• Manage inventory control and maintenance of rental equipment, ensuring availability and proper organization
• Explain rental terms clearly to customers, utilizing strong communication skills
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry tools to maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, and inventory logs
• Negotiate rental agreements effectively while upholding company policies and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Assist with marketing initiatives by engaging in promotional activities and outreach efforts to attract new clients

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or sales management with a focus on customer service excellence
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control and administrative tasks efficiently
• Excellent public speaking, communication skills, and phone etiquette for engaging with clients professionally
• Familiarity with Microsoft Wor d, Excel, data entry, and basic retail math for accurate record-keeping and calculations
• Ability to negotiate confidently while maintaining positive customer relationships
• Previous experience in inventory management, maintenance, or retail environments is a plus
• Demonstrated organizational skills combined with proactive problem-solving abilities

Salary Description

$44,000 - $75,000
