Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical).
• Understanding of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
• 10-15+ years in maintenance, reliability engineering, or asset management within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven experience leading maintenance teams and implementing reliability strategies.
• Strong knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Preventive/Predictive Maintenance, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Proficiency with CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance planning tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced Education/Certifications:
o Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
o Certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
• Industry Experience:
o Experience in continuous improvement programs and digital transformation initiatives (IoT, predictive analytics).
• Technology Expertise:
o Familiarity with condition monitoring technologies (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).
o Knowledge of data analytics tools for reliability performance.
• Strategic Skills:
o Ability to develop and execute long-term asset management strategies and align them with business objectives.
Physical Environment:
• Will have significant Office work and also spend a lot of time in working specialty chemical plants.
• Typically will need to lift less than 20 lbs.

Job Responsibilities:
• Program Development & Leadership
o Lead the implementation of a structured Maintenance & Reliability roadmap aligned with corporate objectives.
o Secure executive sponsorship and maintain stakeholder engagement through clear communication and reporting.
o Establish and chair a cross-functional Reliability Core Team (Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Safety/PSM).
• Asset Management & Documentation
o Develop and maintain accurate plant documentation including P&IDs, asset lists, O&M manuals, and operating limits.
o Build and manage asset hierarchy and criticality ranking within the CMMS.
• CMMS Implementation & Optimization
o Select, implement, and optimize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure 100% asset coverage.
o Drive standardization of equipment naming, tagging, and maintenance workflows.
• Reliability Processes & Continuous Improvement
o Implement core reliability processes including Preventive Maintenance (PM) optimization, Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
o Develop and enforce precision maintenance standards and operator care programs.
o Establish planning and scheduling processes to achieve >90% schedule compliance.
o Creation of reliability control plans
• Predictive Maintenance & Technology Deployment
o Deploy predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound) on critical assets.
o Integrate process data historian and analytics for proactive failure detection.
• Performance Monitoring & KPI Management
o Define and track key performance indicators (availability, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, PM/PdM compliance).
o Conduct annual reliability roadmap reviews and benchmarking against industry standards.
• Training & Culture Building
o Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for maintenance and operations teams.
o Promote a reliability-focused culture through operator-driven reliability initiatives and incentive programs.
• Compliance & Risk Management
o Ensure adherence to EH&S, PSM, and ISO standards across all maintenance and reliability activities.
o Conduct risk-based gap analyses and implement mitigation strategies.
• Budget & Resource Management
o Prepare and manage reliability program budgets, including capital and operational expenditures.
o Justify investments through ROI analysis and cost-benefit evaluations.
Employees Supervised:
Dotted-line supervision of plant maintenance personnel.
Budgetary Responsibility:

Summary Of Job:
The Reliability & Maintenance Manager is a critical role to Building Adhesive Solutions global operations. The role reports to the Director, Global Strategic Initiatives and has direct responsibility for providing leadership, design, planning and execution of Reliability and Maintenance activities across our specialty chemicals operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing a comprehensive plan for implementing a robust and sustainable Reliability & Maintenance program, supporting plant personnel as a Reliability & Maintenance subject matter expert and supporting long-term growth and productivity gains with improved Reliability & Maintenance practices.
