Registered Respiratory Therapist

Summary:

• Duration: 14 Weeks
• Shift: 12-Hour Days | 6:45 AM 7:15 PM
• Weekend Requirement: 13 weekend shifts out of 26 (Saturday or Sunday's)
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Holiday Work Requirement: Must work observed holidays if they fall within the contract period
• No more than 4 RTO dates during contract

Responsibilities:

• Float Requirement: Anschutz & Network of Care (North or South)
• FLOAT: Company reserves the right to float or reassign Personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill the scheduled guaranteed hours and in the Denver Metro area within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility (unless otherwise agreed to in such Personnels individual assignment confirmation)

Requirements:

• Education: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary
• Travel Experience: Must have prior travel assignment experience
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Required Clinical Experience:
• • Minimum 3 years Pediatric ICU
  • Minimum 3 years Neonatal ICU
  • Minimum 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma
• Required Certifications:
• • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NRP

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum 4 years Pediatric ICU
• Minimum 4 years Neonatal ICU
• Minimum 2 years Pediatric Level 1 Trauma

Additional Notes:

• No RTO (Requested Time Off) approved within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed
