Job Overview - Quality Engineer - 34397
We've got an excellent opportunity for an intermediate or advanced-career Quality Engineering candidate to guide the work duties of plant-level Quality Inspectors in our client's Tulsa, OK location.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Review design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and function of products.
- Ensure products meet the organization's and customers' quality and product integrity requirements.
- Support product development or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
- Identify root causes of problems in the production process; recommend and/or implement corrective measures.
- Analyze data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
- Support and maintain the requirements related to keeping the site ISO 9001:2015 certified.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the organization's production processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Internal Auditor certification is strongly preferred.
- SAP experience is strongly preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
- Three to five years of related experience required.
