Project Manager (CONTRACT - 8 Months)

This individual will work closely with a broad cross functional team touching every aspect of our operations including manufacturing, facilities, and local engineering teams to drive capital projects and tech transfer across our network. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Contract, Project Manager with a process engineering background who will focus on leading technology transfer activities and major capital expansion projects.

Project Manager (CONTRACT - 8 Months) 

Location: Hudson, MA (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $57 - 62/hr. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Contract, Project Manager with a process engineering background who will focus on leading technology transfer activities and major capital expansion projects. The position is global and will touch on a wide array of our product lines. This individual will work closely with a broad cross functional team touching every aspect of our operations including manufacturing, facilities, and local engineering teams to drive capital projects and tech transfer across our network. The successful candidate will play a key role in major expansion and tech transfer projects. Organizational skills and an exceptional problem-solving ability are important.? 

Responsibilities           

• Directly manage or partner with project managers on major capital projects and tech transfer activities?? 

• Lead projects from early design through to execution and completion? 

• Work closely with facilities and local engineering teams to design and implement solutions for complicated projects.? 

• Lead cross functional project teams in support of capital projects and tech transfer initiatives.? 

• Develop clear and effective project plans to track progress, flag project risks, and delegate project tasks to cross functional team member(s)? 

• Clearly communicate responsibilities, timelines, project risks, and escalations to project team and to key stakeholders?? 

• Maintain strong working relationships across a wide array of internal departments? 

• Develop and own commissioning and qualification programs to support tech transfer, expansion, and validation activities? 

• Sets and monitors project budgets and resource requirements 

• Work with local engineering teams to maintain and manage the current state of manufacturing processes and readiness for transfer? 

Qualifications 

• Engineering degree or equivalent required  

• 4+?years of engineering/project management experience in a biomanufacturing or development environment  

• Demonstrated track record of successful project execution  

• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills  

• Experience with Project management tools  

• Experience with the operation of process-scale manufacturing equipment.
