Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations Representative to support retail merchandising initiatives across a large network of grocery stores.
In this role, you will coordinate store planogram resets, manage scheduling and resource planning, collaborate with third-party merchandising vendors, and prepare operational reports. You will help organize activities across multiple store locations, ensure effective communication between stakeholders, and support merchandising operations for new store openings and major remodels.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in grocery retail, convenience stores, merchandising, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) who enjoys coordinating multiple activities and working with operational data.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate planogram reset activities across 300+ retail store locations.
- Organize stores into geographical batches to streamline scheduling and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain reset schedules in coordination with third-party merchandising vendors.
- Communicate timelines, staffing requirements, deployment plans, and operational updates to vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Determine staffing requirements for individual store batches based on operational needs.
- Create and maintain Excel trackers, reporting dashboards, and PowerPoint presentations to communicate project status and progress.
- Track schedules, identify potential delays or roadblocks, and coordinate follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with internal grocery and Whole Body teams to support merchandising initiatives.
- Coordinate merchandising resources for new store openings and major remodels.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure stakeholders have the information needed to execute planned activities.
- Support continuous improvement in scheduling, reporting, and operational coordination processes.
Required Qualifications- 2–3+ years of relevant experience in retail operations, grocery, convenience stores, merchandising, or CPG.
- Understanding of retail merchandising concepts, planograms, or store reset activities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization, tracking, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and email applications.
- Experience coordinating schedules, vendors, resources, or operational activities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
