Temporary Procurement Associate – Loading Dock

Location: Elmont, NY
Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 25 hours/week
Hours: Flexible Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday

• 8:00 AM–1:00 PM or 9:00 AM–2:00 PM

• Occasional 12:00 PM–5:00 PM shifts as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking a Temporary Procurement Associate to support procurement and loading dock operations at our Elmont, NY location. This is an active, hands-on position ideal for someone with experience in logistics, transportation, procurement, or loading dock operations rather than traditional warehouse work.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, dependable go-getter with a positive attitude who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day procurement and loading dock activities

• Receive, move, organize, and stage materials and supplies

• Safely operate a forklift, hand truck, and hand pallet jack; certification is not required

• Assist with loading and unloading materials

• Coordinate the movement of items between the loading dock and designated locations

• Potentially assist with mail delivery and distribution as needed

• Follow established safety procedures and maintain an organized work area

• Perform other logistics and procurement-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, procurement, or loading dock operations preferred

• Logistics experience is strongly preferred over traditional warehouse experience

• Must be comfortable operating a forklift, hand truck, and hand pallet jack

• Forklift certification is not required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance

• Must be physically active and comfortable being on your feet throughout the shift

• Dependable, motivated, and willing to take initiative

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

• Must be located in or around Elmont, NY and able to reliably report on-site

• Steel-toed boots required

• Must be able to obtain/maintain the required gaming license

Schedule

This is a part-time position averaging approximately 25 hours per week.
