Process Industrial Engineer
Position Summary
Responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, standardization, and cost. Supports SOP development, time studies, process improvements, automation initiatives, production training, and customer audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update SOPs and work instructions for manufacturing operations.
- Analyze production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard times and support workforce planning.
- Train operators and supervisors on new or revised processes and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for automation and support implementation of process improvement initiatives.
- Support customer audits by providing IE documentation and addressing process-related findings.
- Monitor process performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 25 years of Industrial Engineering or Process Engineering experience.
- Experience with time and motion studies and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Experience with MES, ERP, BI dashboards, or other manufacturing software is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and training skills.
